1. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Platform: PrintQuote ("Service", "Platform", "We", "Us")

1. Purpose & Scope

1.1. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules and standards governing the use of the PrintQuote platform,website, and tools.

1.2. This policy applies to all registered users, trial users, and casual visitors uploading files or accessing services provided by Jestr Labs Ltd.

2. Prohibited Content (3D Models & Data)

You agree not to upload, process, or transmit through PrintQuote any 3D design files (e.g., STL, OBJ, STEP, CAD),text, or media that contain or promote:

  1. Illegal Weapons & Firearms: Models or schematics for unregistered firearms, "ghost guns", firearm components, silencers, explosive devices, or prohibited weaponry.
  2. Controlled & Restricted Items: Files designed to manufacture illegal lock-picking tools, counterfeit currency, dangerous goods, or items restricted under UK law or international export regulations.
  3. Intellectual Property Infringement: 3D designs, CAD files, or trademarked logos that infringe on the copyright, patent, design right, or trade secret of any third party without explicit permission.
  4. Harmful or Obscene Content: Materials that promote hate speech, illegal acts, harassment, or unlawful discrimination or abuse.

3. Prohibited Uses of the Platform

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities on or through PrintQuote:

  1. Reverse Engineering & Scraping: Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, extract source code, or scrape the cost-estimation algorithms, pricing databases, or user interface of PrintQuote.
  2. System Abuse: Uploading files infected with viruses, malware, trojans, or corrupted data intended to impair the operation of our servers or software.
  3. Unauthorized Access: Attempting to bypass security controls, gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts,or test the vulnerability of our infrastructure without authorization.
  4. Automated Misuse: Utilizing unauthorized bots, automated scripts, or excessive API requests that place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

4. Enforcement & Termination

4.1. Monitoring Rights: Jestr Labs Ltd reserves the right (but is under no obligation) to review, audit, or flag uploaded files to ensure compliance with this policy and applicable legal restrictions.

4.2. Action on Violation: If we reasonably believe you have violated this AUP, Jestr Labs Ltd may, at its sole discretion:

  1. Immediately remove or block access to the non-compliant files;
  2. Suspend or permanently terminate your PrintQuote account without refund;
  3. Report illegal activities or uploads (including illegal firearm designs) to law enforcement authorities.
